Oh, Look: Another Carbuncle

I had thought I was finished making Madou Monogatori / Puyo Puyo Carbuncle plushes, but then I saw this post and said...oooh.  That's a Very Good Carbuncle Shape.

I sketched it immediately, then had it it in the back of my mind for a while, and impulsively made it yesterday, using the last bits of fleece from a previous Carbuncle attempt.

And, yes, once again, there was no pattern involved.

He is, as the kids say, scrunkly.

The face is a half circle, more or less.

The back is two quarter circles, sewn to each other along a straight edge (with the tail in that seam), then the other resulting long edge sewn to the curve of the face half circle, with the ears and front legs in that seam.

The ears, tail, and legs are cylinders with one curved end, of various lengths.

The ears and tail are lightly stuffed, but none of the other appendages are.

The underside is a rough half circle, about the same size as the face rough half circle, with the back legs ins the seam attaching the curve of that half circle belly and the merged quarter circles making up the back

The eyes are two round plastic black shank buttons, and the forehead jewel is an acrylic craft gem glued on with E6000

Will this be the last Carbuncle?  Time will tell.
